Marc Jacobs Handbags
Marc Jacobs handbag
Style in casual is not a simple thing if you wish to encapsulate chic and luxury as well. However, this Marc Jacobs Parachute Waist Pouch would work for you. Its dazzling complexion and sumptuous inherence could glam up your any attire with a bang!
If you’re too tired of carrying a handbag or if you need to use both your hands (just like while grocery shopping), having a fanny pack such as this Marc Jacobs handbag would be a perfect choice. And aside from such function, this bag is also very chic as it comes in silver glazed canvas material, which kind of brings a hint of retro vibe. Additionally, to create a bolder and tougher look, this waist pouch also has gray python-stamped leather trimming.
With measurements of 9 x 5 x 1 inches, this designer handbag would surely fit perfectly around your waist. It has a pewter chain link belt with buckle fastening at the side, so that wearing this would also look like you’re wearing a chic belt. This then has a zip fastening across the front, and the interior is fully lined in brown raffia.
Marc Jacobs Kate Lock Hobo
Marc Jacobs is doing something quirky and cool with his spring bag collection and we are loving it! Last night I posted on our Twitter and Facebook asking people what handbag they have passed up recently and regret it. While I could think of a few, I had this nagging image in the back of my mind, of a totally off-the-wall Marc Jacobs bag that somehow is speaking to me.
Do you remember the Marc Jacobs Fluorescent Tweed Bag? It is completely tacky, over-done, and lovely. Yes, I said lovely. Why am I feeling so drawn to this crazy mish-mash of tweed, patent leather, and colorful baubbles? I don’t know. But I adore that bag.
So when I attempt to ground myself and realize that it is possible that buying a super trendy bag is not the way to go, I have to find a replacement. And I found one. I found nearly the same price in a black leather bag from Marc Jacobs. The Marc Jacobs Kate Lock Hobo has a little bit of sass with the zipper and stud detail on the sides. Like the Tweed Bag, and many bags from his spring collection, there is a signature lock detail at the front of the bag. Otherwise this is a simple hobo, with a long adjustable leather strap and slouchy body.
I dig where Marc Jacobs took his spring line. It ventures from downright crazy to slightly colorful to over-detailed to just right. There has to be a bag in there somewhere for you. Buy the Kate Lock Hobo via Bergdorf Goodman for $950.
And if you are me, for some odd absurd reason, the only bag still calling my name is the Fluorescent Tweed Bag. Tomatoes in my face? If you are like me, buy the Fluorescent Tweed Bag at Net a Porter for $995.
Gucci Techno Horsebit Large Tote
Not too long ago, I wrote about a neoprene Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag on Bagsbrand Savvy that I absolutely love, and I explained exactly why I think that neoprene is a cool material bags. I still think that’s absolutely true, and I still love the bag, but I just don’t know if I can justify to myself spending $350 for a bag that’s not leather.
The Gucci Techno Horsebit Large Tote, also made mostly out of neoprene, has put the price of the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag in stark perspective. And, in it’s own way, it’s made me more likely to spend money it.

This bag is cool and a bit futuristic while still being obviously Gucci, and I still love the collection from which it came – it was the brand’s best since the exodus of Tom Ford. The design is successful, if a bit busy. But there’s something we need to talk about.
It’s the price. The price. This bag has a bit of leather, but it’s made largely out of the relatively inexpensive neoprene. It’s a runway look, so one can assume that they bumped it up a bit in price as a result, but $2,790 for a bag that’s not all leather (not even close) is something that I cannot abide. Surely someone will, but all it does is make me appreciate the eminently reasonable MbMJ price point all the more.
Follow the Rainbow to Multicolored Handbags
Not only does a new year bring a fresh start, but it reveals an interest in fresher brighter hues as we inch our way towards spring. The recent trend of colorful rainbow hue handbags feels just right, like a breath of fresh air as we say au revoir to 2009. These candy colored bags are decadent treat, satisfying the handbag lover’s craving for wit and whimsy. They also have an ulterior motive, as they will coordinate with a myriad of outfits. With at least three colors shown on each bag, there are many opportunities to mix and match with most of the items in your closet. Multi colored bags also pair perfectly with black or white for an instant dash of springtime freshness.

Kicking off the color explosion trend, Diane von Furstenberg is expert at infusing pop art inspired accents into her bags with the zest and energy that she brings to all her collections. The Diane von Furstenberg “Stephanie” Woven Leather Clutch in Sunset Metallic ($395 at Net-a-Porter) is a soft sided woven leather clutch made of multicolored metallic leather adorned with a large tassel and wristlet strap. The top closure is secured by a zipper and has a mesh lining.
The Italians love color with a sophisticated edge, and the Fendi Forever Boston Satchel ($855 at Saks) is no exception. This petite satchel is swathed in a rainbow of double F Fendi logos. The coated canvas body is topped with double handles and reveals a roomy interior. Another colorful clutch from DVF is the Hayworth ($425 at Net-a-Porter). The off-white leather clutch has multicolored patent stitching at the sides and edges. On the body is a geometric hole punched design as well as pewter tone screw hardware details. From the prince of pop culture himself, Marc Jacobs’ Fluorescent Tweed Bag ($395 at Net-a-Porter) is pure ’80’s excess. Go for the bold with this cheeky tweed paneled bag embellished with gold splashed multi-colored neon stone studs. This particular MJ bag may not be for the fashionably faint at heart. But we do know that it will be definitely turn heads with the right outfit. Pair with a primarily black outfit and some sky high wedges and you’ll be the ultimate statement maker on the streets this spring.
Peachblow of Marc by Marc Jacobs on summer 2010
Though we are still in year 2009, we have starting our journey to discover the trends of 2010 latest handbags fashion. From New York fashion week, Milan fashion week to London fashion week, we can enjoy nice handbags from top designers from all over the world.
From New York Fashion Week, Marc Jacobs bring its latest designer handbags on the catwalks show which is his Marc by Marc Jacobs line of his spring new bags designer summer collection 2010. The catwalk theme is colorful, whimsical, fresh and luxury. I really love the lively color design of the handbags, especially the Peachblow item, so eye-catching and can show off all the fashion say!

Marc Jacobs Ostrich Stam
So this is love?! I am on handbag love overload. Yesterday I brought you a metallic Bronzo true love, the YSL Volcano Tote, which I literally dreamed about, and now I am bringing you the feminine exotic from Marc Jacobs. Marc Jacobs is a man of many wonders. His designs at times are misses, but with the Marc Jacobs Ostrich Stam he found his way into every woman’s heart, with the perfect combination of color, pale pink, and leather, ostrich. I don’t know about you but this bag rocks right to my core, sending me notions of girly wonders that remind me just why I love being a woman. The ability to pair a powerful suit with the perfect feminine accessory is something men must have bag-envy over! Amanda recently covered this rendition of the Stam, labeled the Marc Jacobs handbags, and at the time I was not sold on it. It was nice, but it took the exotic skin and color to send me into the world of ohhing and ahhing. The silver tone link chain strap is detachable. I am just all kinds of sold on this. Sold on this and yesterdays YSL bag. My fall handbag list would be complete with these two bags.
Marc Jacob’s Heart Cutout

Girls and ladies, come and meet this newly Marc Jacobs handbags. As you can see, is a tote bag, it’s flesh or blue. It’s covered with cutie hearts. It’s kinda…kinda squama looking, like at one time the hearts falling down piece by piece, while at another time lots of hearts gathering around. Isn’t it interesting? Handles sit on either side of the main opening, and a zip pocket sits on the lining. The size is big, the price is beastly. But seriously, who can resist? Everybody loves heart, nobody hates Marc Jacobs. And this is one love story that’ll warm big hearts. Are enticement enough? If you miss it, you’re definitely a jerk. So go on, buy your heart out.
If you think it’s too girlie, you can choose the blue one. If you want something sweet, the flesh one is waiting there. All in all, anyone carried one of these, one word—hot, two words—so spicy, and three words—please kill me!!! The world would be a more loving place, what are you waitong for?!
Marc Jacobs Iggy Shoulder Bag
Now this is a surprise. A fall bag utterly devoid of studs? But it’s true. The only hint of rocker on this Marc Jacobs Iggy Shoulder Bag is the fairly sedate chain-link strap. But that’s not the reason I was attracted to this bag, which, I admit, is an all-or-nothing bag, a love-it or hate-it bag.
No, I like it for the unique purple and teal color, which is heightened by the quilted python design. I mostly like the purple color because I am a massive fan of purple handbags. I also really like when I see brightly-colored bags, because so often bags are in darker colors- brights simply draw your eye to the bag. Plus, isn’t that tiny lock on the front just adorable?
The only complaint I have (about the bag, not the lock) is the length of the chain strap. It’s so short that it seems out of proportion considering the size of the bag. If only it had a little more length, then one would be able to sling it comfortably over the shoulder. It seems to me that it’s a little to short of a strap to do that… unless if the bag slouches sufficiently. One can hope!
Fashion Week Spring 2010: Marc Jacobs Handbags
No review of Marc Jacobs‘ Spring 2010 fashion show would be complete without taking a good look at the accessories that were also featured – after all, they’ll be what we’re picking apart mercilessly in a few months.
Consistent with the softer color palette of much of MJ’s collection, we saw a lot of champagnes, light and medium blues, creams, and whites in the accessories collection. Many of the bags were made of multicolored lattice leather, sometimes in what looked to be several different textures – I definitely spy some python, at the very least.
There was also Jacobs’ signature quilting, with many of the quilts bearing forth rivets and tassels. I liked the addition of texture, but these were not my favorite bags of the show – the tassels and their cords looked like tentacles to me. Not a good look.
And last put not least, apparently fringe is not over yet, at least not in Marc’s mind. Many of the latticed bags had nearly a foot of fringe swinging from them in the same colors that made up the bag’s body. I have a feeling that this will be shortened somewhat before the products are shipped to stores, but I didn’t hate it. In fact, quite the opposite – I thought that it was quite appropriate, considering the construction of many of the pieces Leave it to someone like him to make us all take a second look at fringe.
